Weller's Well Stocked Kitchen
This is a list of staples and old reliables that should always be on hand at home. This list is intended as a shopping check list. This list is part lifestyle and part disaster plan (catastrophic and fiscal). Generally, I’m thinking about a family of four for at least 3 months. The idea is to plan ahead; first, by getting things bulk and on sale such that this list of essentials is on hand inexpensively; second, by prepping, thawing and soaking such that your cooking plans are at least 8 hours ahead of your eating plans (see the cooking pyramid).
