Killing Kittens

I wonder if the people in the second picture. Know how it was used for the first picture?...pics

Flowers

This weeks flowers smell pretty because of the Stargazer Lillies. Easter had a lot of whites and yellows to offer. Set off with some pink. Also check the ALR. This monster from eBay has been living at my house since Ray's GF Shena decided she didn't like the ambient tornado noises it makes. Like a lullaby for me. The thing is a 6CPU monster (PPros 200mhz). You could do some interesting stuff with it. But it's a bitch of a laptop....pics

In Honor of Anya's 21st

Anya recently turned 21. This was our little celebration of that. We went out dancing at Koot's. We tried to hook up with Rayme & Anya earlier to mow sushi, but they had eaten. So Wally, Miah, and I had to drink all the ourselves. Life's rough....pics

Organizing the Shop at UAA

The original design of our shop at UAA didn't provide personal storage space. So, Corp Express came in and did our new design. It ended up taking all day to seperate all the crap and clean up. But it's a mite more organized now....pics

Sunday Brunch Flowers, and Ice Skating

Flower Sunday continues. This time Me and my Mom, Nora, and Davina and her Mom, Joyce, all went to Sack's for brunch. So tasty. Later Davina and I went ice skating at Westchester. It is really my first time ice skating out in on a lake. WOW! It was tons of fun. I must say I enjoy the mystique of winter sports. I also like the format of long paths on a pond rather than a chewed up hockey rink....pics

Sleepy Shady

Miah fell asleep in my bed one day. Purely on accident (however that works). I took pictures b/c it was adorable....pics

28" Record Snow Day

Wow! I love snow. And this was the bomb godess mother of all snow days. 28 inches fell. That's an Alaskan record for most in one Day. There were all kinds of anomolous things going on. I had to drive around with my camera to catch it all. Please, note that a 1984 Eagles is an EXCELLENT SNOW boat. I still went and did flower Sunday despite the snow. The cancelled school the next day. Pay special attention to the series of cars jumping the snow burms. Also notice the HARDCORE Alaskan bum. His sign said he was a veteran. He must have been special forces...pics

More Dad in Town

This is the 2nd half of the Dad in town for March pictures. The funny ones of him munching moose leg are at the beginning....pics

Beautiful Parking Lot

This was just a beatiful morning on my way to work. There is a season of about 3 days when the sun crests the mountains right as get to work. This was one of them....pics

Nice Ski

A pile of weird ones. Someone at UAA was actually using this phone which had been repaired using cardboard and tape. It really is a testament to the resilience of cubicle culture. Somebodies butt at work. And pictures of my first tripod outing. I took my new tripod Skiing with me. I took some downhill footage. I'll combine it with some later footage here soon....pics

FWOMP!

Since I've gotten my bed, I take great pleasure in cleaning the sheets, fluffing the down, taking a shower, putting on clean pajamas, and jumping into the clean pile of palatial pillows. I call it FWOMPin because that's roughly the sound it makes. Ah decadence. Don't get me wrong. I can still sleep on a cold sharp rock. Check out the movie...pics

Flower Sunday

I've been spending Sundays with my Mom, Nora, arranging flowers. I run to the store and buy a huge bundle, relying on the kindness of the clerk rather than my colorblind eyes to determine appropriate combinations;) Mom and I arrange the flowers into a couple of bouqets....pics

The one for work gives me a sense of contribution. Plus, our reception area is chock full of beautiful ladies. It just makes sense to put flowers before themThe one for mom gives her something pretty to look at. Plus, the arranging itself has a healing effect. The one for Davina, the girl next door, is just for GP (General Principal). Her man don't get her no flowers, and it's a role I'm happy to fill to see the smile on her face. Plus, it generally pays in hugs. This time She, Mom and I all went to Snow City Cafe for breakfeast. Yummmm!I put one in by bedroom. I havent figured that out either. I tell guys it's to get girls. I tell girls some made up shit to be a "Sensitive New Age Guy" (SNAG). Just Kidding! But really I think it's so that my morning alarm clock rage is quelled when i see the pretty flowers. Whatever it is I do enjoy them in my room. Finally, The one for my neighbor Walter... christ why do I get him flowers?

Dad's In Town

My Dad from New Mexico was in town for about a week. I had an absolute blast with him. He was teaching another course on electrical controls. He was so kind as to buy me a wireless hub and a Zio SmartMedia reader. We ate out a lot and hit every bookstore (of course). His "host family" the Dennis, Kim, and Kendall Wagner were nice enough to cook us all the bomb rib dinner the friday before he left....pics

G4 Laptop

Apple Titanium G4 667Mhz, 1gig RAM, 45gig HD, Airport, and CDR/DVD combo. It is the SWEETEST computer I've ever owned. Add a my Sony TRV530 Handycam, a fujifilm digital camera, a zio smartmedia reader, and a customer Brenthart backback to carry it all and you have one happy urban geek warrior. Thank you god!pics

My 26th Birthday

I'm 26. Bah! Some sweet pictures of Miranda (Robert and Melissa's Daughter in Texas). A cool picture of Kati at the Bluffs. The stairs to the internet are difficult for me Poor Mudder. But she managed for years. I donated my WAP11 802.11b hub to my parents so they can internet downstairs. Luckily my visting Father from NM got me another for my birthday. Those things really do spoil you. Mom loves browsing the net on her laptop from anywhere in the house....pics

Skiing and Filming

I took my video camera out to the ski track by UAA/APU. I was hoping to get some vids of my form for review. But without a tripod it was impossible. But hey at least I got some goofy shots of me. I'm short those huh?...pics
